Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McBee Panthers (McBee, SC) and the host Elevation Prep Academy Honey Badgers (Charlotte, NC), saw McBee's basketball squad hold off Elevation Prep Academy by a tally of 58-57.

With the victory, McBee improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC) to battle the Bears in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 8-5. Carvers Bay won 60-52 in their recent non-league contest against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)

The Honey Badgers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Central Carolina Prep (Burlington, NC). The Defenders come into the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Central Carolina Prep edged Greater Vision Academy (Gibsonville, NC), 70-63, in a non-league contest.
