The Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC), 64-62 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Peninsula Catholic got by Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC), 73-54, in a non-league test.

The Gators now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Fear Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Goose Creek will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 70-53 non-league loss to Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 8-3.
