South Carolina High School Basketball - Hammond can't hold off Lower Richland
December 29, 2023: Columbia, SC 29209 The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Hammond Skyhawks to 38 in the Diamond Hornets non-league victory on Friday.
The Diamond Hornets now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heathwood Hall Episcopal for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Lower Richland will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 55-41 non-league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-6.
The Skyhawks (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Gilbert was nudged by Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC), 55-41, in a non-league contest.
