In Friday's non-league outing, the Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Whitney Wildcats (Whitney, TX), by a count of 92-56.

The Black Cats (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Paradise was crushed by Randall (Amarillo, TX), 78-49, in a non-league outing.
