Pennsylvania High School Basketball - State College fells Notre Dame-Green Pond

State College Little Lions (State College, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA), 70-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, State College upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Little Lions host Carlisle (Carlisle, PA) to clash with the Thundering Herd in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Thundering Herd go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Carlisle won 76-48 in their recent non-league bout against Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) in a Colonial - East bout, on Thursday, January 4. Notre Dame-Green Pond will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 48-38 non-league loss to Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA).
