Providence-St. Mel Knights (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 68-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Providence-St. Mel improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to confront the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 8-8.
