North Carolina High School Basketball - Pickens ripped by R-S Central

The R-S Central Hilltoppers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Pickens Blue Flame to 49 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brevard for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills contest on Friday, January 5.

The Blue Flame (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph's Catholic triumphed over Broome (Spartanburg, SC), 53-31, in a non-league contest.
