West Florence Knights (Florence, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC), 47-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Florence upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC) to play the Seahawks in a AAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 5. The Seahawks come into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Titans play the Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC) in a SCISA AAAA Region II bout, on Friday, January 5. Trinity Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
