December 29, 2023: Mission Viejo, CA 92692 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Santa Ana Valley Falcons (Santa Ana, CA) and the host Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA), saw Santa Ana Valley's basketball squad knock off Capistrano Valley by a tally of 36-23.
With the victory, Santa Ana Valley improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Fullerton (Fullerton, CA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Fullerton won 46-40 in their recent non-league challenge against El Modena (Orange, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Capistrano Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Vanguards come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 46-40 non-league loss to Fullerton (Fullerton, CA).
