Texas High School Basketball - Gordon trounces Klondike
December 29, 2023: Gordon, TX 76453 The Gordon Longhorns (Gordon, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX), 62-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Jaybirds go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Jayton was trounced by Coahoma (Coahoma, TX), 40-36, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Garden City for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Klondike will encounter a Bearkats squad coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 17-4.
