Maryland High School Basketball - Pocomoke overwhelms Kent County
December 29, 2023: Pocomoke, MD 21851 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD) and the visiting Kent County Trojans (Worton, MD), saw Pocomoke's basketball squad wallop Kent County by a tally of 60-39.
With the victory, Pocomoke improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Decatur (Berlin, MD) to confront the Seahawks in a Bayside - South challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Decatur won 53-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Laurel (Laurel, DE)
Next up, the Trojans confront the North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD) in a Bayside - North challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Kent County will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Seaford (Seaford, DE).
