California High School Basketball - Lucerne Valley fells Newbury Park Adventist

Lucerne Valley Mustangs (Lucerne Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newbury Park Adventist Gators (Newbury Park, CA), 39-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lucerne Valley upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Victor Valley Christian (Victorville, CA) to play the Royals in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Gators play the Hillcrest Christian Saints (Thousand Oaks, CA) in a Omega bout, on Thursday, January 11. Newbury Park Adventist will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
