The Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC) basketball were winner over the host Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 73-58 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Gryphons now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Northwest Halifax for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Rocky Mount will play a Vikings team coming off a 61-45 league loss to Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.
