The New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) basketball crushed the host Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA), 56-34 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Gryphons now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Temple Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5. New Covenant will play a Crusaders team coming off a 40-31 non-league win over Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.
