The Auburndale Bloodhounds topped the visiting Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors basketball team by a final score of 63-55 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bloodhounds face the Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 3. Auburndale will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 5-7 record after their 53-38 non-league loss to Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL).

With the defeat, Metrolina Christian Academy moves to 11-11 on the year. The Warriors travel to Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to face the Eagles in a NCISAA Metrolina game on Tuesday, January 3.
