Kentucky High School Basketball - Christian County knocked off by Pearl-Cohn
December 30, 2022: Hopkinsville, KY 42240 The Pearl-Cohn Firebirds basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Christian County Colonels to 52 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Firebirds now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Nashville Magnet for a 2A District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Pearl-Cohn will meet a Eagles team coming off a 74-60 non-league win over Summit (Spring Hill, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 12-0.
The Colonels (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, Caldwell County toppled Heritage Christian Academy (Hopkinsville, KY), 63-50, in a non-league bout.
