South Carolina High School Basketball - May River nips White Knoll
December 30, 2022: Lexington, SC 29073 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) and the host White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC), saw May River's basketball squad hold off White Knoll by a count of 65-60.
With the victory, May River upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Sharks host James Island (Charleston, SC) to play the Trojans in a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. James Island won 75-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Stall (Charleston, SC)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. White Knoll will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Fighting Green Hornets come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 66-54 non-league loss to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC).
