North Carolina High School Basketball - Statesville Christian nips Tabernacle Christian
December 30, 2022: Monroe, NC 28110 Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tabernacle Christian Ram (Monroe, NC), 40-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Statesville Christian upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Lions host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Pine Lake Prep won 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
Next up, the Ram play the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Tabernacle Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 86-23 non-league loss to Southview Christian (Statesville, NC).
