December 30, 2022: Kress, TX 79052 The Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) basketball crushed the host Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX), 81-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Veribest (Veribest, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Veribest was trounced by Merkel (Merkel, TX), 38-31, in a non-league test.
The Kangaroos now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Springlake-Earth for a 1A Region I District 4 test on Friday, January 6. Kress will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 41-36 non-league loss to Olton (Olton, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-8.
