The St. Joseph Central Irish basketball team (Huntington, WV), was overwhelmed 87-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH)

The Panthers now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portsmouth for a Ohio Valley battle on Friday, January 5. Chesapeake will confront a Trojans team coming off a 68-51 non-league loss to Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 6-1.
