Florida High School Basketball - Columbus holds off Harvard-Westlake
December 30, 2023: Miami, FL 33165 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Columbus Explorers (Miami, FL) and the visiting Harvard-Westlake Wolverines (Studio City, CA), saw Columbus's basketball squad hold off Harvard-Westlake by a tally of 55-54.
With the victory, Columbus improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Explorers host Mater Lakes Academy (Miami, FL) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Mater Lakes Academy won 105-90 in their recent non-league challenge against Mentor (Mentor, OH)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Alemany Warriors (Mission Hills, CA) in a Mission challenge, on Friday, January 5. Harvard-Westlake will attempt to improve on its 15-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 73-41 non-league loss to Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA).
