December 30, 2023: Indian Trail, NC 28079 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the 1 of 1 Academy (Indian Trail, NC) and the visiting South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), saw 1 of 1 Academy's basketball squad wallop South Gwinnett by a count of 75-36.
With the victory, 1 of 1 Academy upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Crusaders in a National Independent - North challenge on Friday, January 5. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 8-10.
Next up, the Comets play the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 5. South Gwinnett will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
