Virginia High School Basketball - Hanover overwhelms St. Catherine's
December 30, 2023: Richmond, VA 23226 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) and the host St. Catherine's Saints (Richmond, VA), saw Hanover's basketball squad wallop St. Catherine's by a tally of 72-31.
With the victory, Hanover improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Hawks host Varina (Richmond, VA) to confront the Blue Devils in a Capital challenge on Monday, January 8. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Varina lost 23-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA)
Next up, the Saints confront the Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. St. Catherine's will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 71-61 non-league loss to Bearden (Knoxville, TN).
