The North Henderson Knights basketball squad (Hendersonville, NC), was nudged 74-69 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC)

With the victory, North Buncombe advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Black Hawks host T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to meet the Rams in a 3A/4A Mountain battle on Friday, January 3. The Rams enter the battle with a record of 4-8. T.C. Roberson lost 67-57 in their recent non-league battle against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)

The Knights now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuscola for a 3A Mountain 7 battle on Friday, January 3. North Henderson will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 67-49 non-league loss to Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-8.
