Washington High School Basketball - Shadle Park knocks off Newport
December 30, 2024: Newport, WA 99156 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Shadle Park Highlanders basketball team scored a good 54-37 win over the Newport Grizzlies.
The Highlanders (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pasco (Pasco, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Pasco was topped by Southridge (Kennewick, WA), 49-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Kettle Falls Bulldogs (Kettle Falls, WA) in a 2B Bi-County contest, on Saturday, January 4. Newport will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 58-27 non-league win over East Valley (Spokane, WA).
