California High School Soccer - Whitney nudges West Park
December 30, 2024: Roseville, CA 95747 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) and the host West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA), saw Whitney's soccer squad hold off West Park by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Carondelet (Concord, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Carondelet tipped Liberty (Brentwood, CA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 3. West Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 3-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West (Tracy, CA).
