December 31, 2022: Decatur, GA 30030 The Decatur Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Sprayberry Yellow Jackets to 55 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lithonia for a AAAAA Region 4 contest on Friday, January 6. Decatur will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-37 non-league win over Southwest Atlanta Christian (Atlanta, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-3.
The Yellow Jackets (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA). The Raiders come into the AAAAAA Region 7 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Alpharetta prevailed over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA), 58-50, in a non-league contest.
