The West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX), 86-9 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Aransas Pass for a 3A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, January 3. West Oso will play a Panthers team coming off a 47-31 league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-14.
