December 4, 2023: Chapin, SC 29036 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) and the host Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC), saw Gray Collegiate Academy's basketball squad hold off Chapin by a tally of 47-40.
With the victory, Gray Collegiate Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The War Eagles host American Leadership Academy (Lexington, SC) to confront the Patriots in a challenge on Monday, December 11. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Chapin will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 39-14 non-league win over River Bluff (Lexington, SC).
