In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Pioneer Patriots basketball team scored a good 62-53 triumph over the Colusa RedHawks.

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oroville (Oroville, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Oroville topped Sutter (Sutter, CA), 58-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the RedHawks confront the Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Colusa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 58-57 non-league loss to Oroville (Oroville, CA).
