North Carolina High School Basketball - Carson succumbs to Lake Norman Charter

December 4, 2024: China Grove, NC 28023

In Wednesday's league test, the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad defeated the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), by a final score of 51-39.

Next, the Knights clash with the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont test, on Friday, December 6. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC).

The Cougars (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings come into the 3A South Piedmont test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Central Cabarrus went down by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 61-44, in a league test.
