California High School Soccer - Bonita knocks off El Monte
December 4, 2024: La Verne, CA 91750 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) and the visiting El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA), saw Bonita's soccer squad triumph over El Monte by a count of 5-0.
The Bearcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Upland (Upland, CA). The Highlanders/Scots enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Upland tipped Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lions battle the Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 6. El Monte will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Aztecs enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).
