The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots basketball squad (Gastonia, NC), was nudged 85-79 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC)

With the victory, Lincoln Charter advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Eagles host Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Chargers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 8-2. Providence Day won 78-50 in their recent non-league battle against Durham Academy (Durham, NC)

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bessemer City for a non-league battle on Friday, December 13.
