Florida High School Soccer - Franklin Academy nudges Marathon
December 5, 2024: Pembroke Pines, FL 33332 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Franklin Academy Panthers (Pembroke Pines, FL) and the visiting Marathon Dolphins (Marathon, FL), saw Franklin Academy's soccer squad hold off Marathon by a count of 1-0.
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Coral Springs Charter (Coral Springs, FL). The Panthers enter the battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Coral Springs Charter tipped Fort Lauderdale (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 8-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Dolphins confront the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions (Miami, FL) in a 3A D16 battle, on Monday, December 9. Marathon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Stallions enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Riviera Prep (Miami, FL).
