The Independence Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Hopewell Titans to 44 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White Knoll for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Independence will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 66-58 non-league win over Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-2.

The Titans (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks come into the 3A/4A Conference 60 contest with a 3-3 record.
