Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA), 47-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Quartz Hill upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Royals travel to Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA) to play the Antelopes in a Golden bout on Thursday, December 8. The Antelopes go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Antelope Valley lost 69-13 in their recent league bout against Highland (Palmdale, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Palmdale Falcons (Palmdale, CA) in a Golden bout, on Thursday, December 8. Eastside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 32-29 league win over Littlerock (Littlerock, CA).
