In Friday's non-league contest, the host Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored a good 59-44 win over the Bard Falcons.

The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Thomas Stone was topped by Churchill (Potomac, MD), 66-60, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC) in a contest, on Monday, December 9. Bard will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 62-8 non-league loss to SEED DC (Washington, DC).
