In Friday's non-league contest, the host Reedy Lions basketball team scored a close 67-62 triumph over the Crandall Pirates.

The Lions (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Forney (Forney, TX). The Jackrabbits go into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Forney was tipped by Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 56-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Crandall will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 12-6 record after their 89-57 non-league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX).
