Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), 49-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Franklin Community advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Grizzly Cubs host Greenwood (Greenwood, IN) to face the Woodmen in a Mid-State match on Friday, December 13. The Woodmen enter the match with a record of 0-8. Greenwood lost 65-40 in their recent league match against Martinsville (Martinsville, IN)

The Hawks now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Decatur Central will face a Flashes squad coming off a 57-49 league loss to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN). The Flashes record now stands at 5-4.
