Texas High School Basketball - Palestine holds off Corsicana

December 7, 2024: Palestine, TX 75801

The Palestine Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Corsicana Tigers to 58 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to LaPoynor for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Palestine will confront a Flyers team coming off a 74-67 non-league win over Trinity (Trinity, TX). The Flyers record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Corsicana falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lindale (Lindale, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-8. Lindale lost 52-48 in their recent non-league game against Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX)
