December 7, 2024: Lynchburg, VA In Saturday's non-league test, the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad trounced the host Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots (Lynchburg, VA), by a score of 58-36.
Next, the Eagles encounter the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a VISAA Division II test, on Tuesday, December 10. The Covenant will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 66-36 non-league win over Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA).
The Patriots (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Ospreys come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was routed by Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA), 46-40, in a league test.
