The Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), 59-23 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Zion Prep Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2.

With the loss, Legacy falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lightning host Chatfield (Littleton, CO) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Chatfield won 65-28 in their recent non-league bout against Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO)
