The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Johns Country Day Spartans (Orange Park, FL) and the visiting Fernandina Beach Pirates (Fernandina Beach, FL), observed St. Johns Country Day's basketball team knock off Fernandina Beach by a score of 49-36.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Covenant School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Covenant School of Jacksonville was knocked off by Old Plank Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL), 34-25, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Fernandina Beach will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 46-28 non-league win over Impact Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL).
