Texas High School Basketball - Salpointe Catholic triumphant over Franklin

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) and the host Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX), observed Salpointe Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Franklin by a score of 67-45.

The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nogales (Nogales, AZ). The Apaches come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Nogales was routed by Mesa (Mesa, AZ), 53-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record.
