The Lake Wales Highlanders basketball squad (Lake Wales, FL), lost 56-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Ocoee Knights (Ocoee, FL)

With the victory, Ocoee advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Seminole (Sanford, FL) to meet the Seminoles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Seminoles enter the battle with a record of 6-1. Seminole won 63-47 in their recent league battle against DeLand (DeLand, FL)

The Highlanders now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sebring for a 5A District 8 battle on Monday, December 9. Lake Wales will meet a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 49-24 non-league win over Discovery (Lake Alfred, FL). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 4-1.
