In Friday's league outing, the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 84-31.

The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies go into the 3A/4A Queen City outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Hough was trounced by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 81-32, in a league outing.

The Hawks now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Charlotte for a 3A/4A Queen City outing on Tuesday, December 12. West Mecklenburg will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 85-82 league win over Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
