The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), 60-43 in Friday's league test.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons go into the Mountain State test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, St. Albans went down by Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV), 53-35, in a non-league test.
