The Southern Choctaw Indians topped the visiting Choctaw County Tigers basketball team by a final score of 67-52 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Indians face the Leroy Bears (Leroy, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 12. Southern Choctaw will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 76-42 league loss to Washington County (Chatom, AL).

With the defeat, Choctaw County moves to 0-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Marion (Marion, AL) to battle the Rams in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12.
