Florida High School Basketball - Mulberry ripped by Discovery

December 9, 2022: Lake Alfred, FL 33850

The Discovery Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Mulberry Panthers to 35 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburndale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Discovery will meet a Bloodhounds team coming off a 52-33 non-league loss to Kathleen (Lakeland, FL). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 1-5.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy (Davenport, FL). The Explorers enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Ridgeview Global Studies Academy was routed by Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL), 41-39, in a non-league contest.
