Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), 54-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rio Linda upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Knights host Valley (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Valley lost 59-26 in their recent non-league bout against John Adams Academy (El Dorado Hills, CA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Oakmont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 41-35 non-league win over Sutter (Sutter, CA).
